Previously on Chembarathi, Anand’s sudden intervention saves Kalyani from getting slapped by Das. She vows to win the competition which angers Das further as he feels betrayed by his daughter. Anand consoles him by telling him that she is winning the competition for his company and not for a position at Thrichambarath.

Nandana calls her mother, Maheshwari to let her know of the events in Thrichambarath. The latter asks her to be careful of Anand’s plan. She tells Nandana how she let her marry Aravind only because of his immense wealth. Vilasini interrupts her conversation on the phone and suspects a conspiracy underway.
Subramanian finds Kalyani sobbing as he goes to fetch pudina tea for Anand. He faces an angry Anand as he gets back to him with the news. Anand rushes to Kalyani to save her and asks for the reasons why she is crying. She tells him about her fear of not winning the competition as she can’t dance. Ganga eavesdrops on their conversation as Anand consoles Kalyani.
In today’s preview of Chembarathi, Ganga accuses Anand of tricking the board members for an easy win for Kalyani in the competition. She mocks Kalyani and asks the board members to make the final event a cooking competition so that the latter can win. Anand is infuriated by her comments and yells at her to make her stop.
